Dr. Ali Mahmud, Sp.OG, (K) FER is one of the obstetrics and gynecology doctors who graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Airlangga University, Surabaya. He received Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree in (obstetrics and gynecology specialist) education and took a sub-specialty in fertility, endocrinology & reproductive at the same alma mater.

Doctor Ali has a long working experience. He worked as a general practitioner at the Sumenep Public Health Center, East Java, from 1993 to 1996. After becoming an obstetrician and gynecologist, Doctor Ali once dedicated his expertise to the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Ratu Zalecha Public Hospital of Martapura, South Kalimantan in 2003-2007. From 2007 until now, Doctor Ali has been registered as a staff in obstetrics and gynaecology at the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology Haji Hospital Surabaya, East Java.

Doctor Ali is very aware that improving knowledge and skills in obstetrics and gynecology is important. He, among others, attended the Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) Training Workshop, Permata Hati Fertility Clinic, Faculty of Medicine, Sarjito General Hospital, Yogyakarta (2006); Intra Uterine Insemination Workshop, Fertility Division, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Faculty of Medicine, Dr Soetomo Hospital, Surabaya (2008). In 2014, he attended a workshop entitled ‘How to Best Prepare Your IVF Patient for Their First Cycle with Colifolitropin Alfa’ in Jakarta.
